Customer Trees

Take a look at the great cat trees built by our customers. The plans show anyone how to make a cat condo and cat furniture. Give your kitty a place to scratch and stop them from scratching your furniture.

Send us a photo of your completed cat tree and we will post it here.

Thank you so much for putting this ebook together. Your site was a heaven sent for me. The .pdf for the plans came through quickly and I put together plan 2 quite easily with only a few hints from hubby, and a little help from my children. We had a great time putting this together from recycled materials. We got the rug 2nd hand from freecycle.org, the wood was all lying around the place and the beds at the top we made from cut down buckets which we have an abundance of. So all in all a very cheap project. Our young kitties are going to love this as they get older! Thanks again!

Shadow and Sheila

Our cat tree is finished and it only took 2 days! It looks great and the cats are crazy about it! Here I have attached a couple of pics of it! Please feel free to share on your site. Our cat’s names are Shadow and Sheila and we are from Michigan! They can’t get enough of their tree!

I built this from your plans, expanding it just a bit on the left side to include a nice tall post for scratching. I also put rubber casters on the bottom to protect our floors and to make it easy to move. You wrote excellent directions. This was important because I don’t do a lot of construction with wood. I appreciate how many pages you took to explain how to do things, rather than just stating the steps. This is the reason why I purchased your plans, rather than going with the free ones I could find on the web.

I ordered your plans and am very glad I did. I am a do-it-yourselfer and weekend carpenter but in this case I’ve been so busy that it was a refreshing change to have plans laid out so I did not have to think twice. Measure and cut. The only modifications I made were to frame in the base, as my plywood had a slight bow in it. I added a support under the first step, and made that and the taller support from air dried cedar, something I see they make cat scratching posts from. Our two Maine Coons now have a variety of textures to choose from, and they love it! Thanks for great plans, we may make another soon. I would advise anyone to go with the powershot stapler. Only $25 to purchase but well worth it…

Radou and Beauty

Quebec, Canada

Here is Radou and Beauty enjoying their new Cat Tree. My first construction experience!!! So everybody can do it, the plans are easy to follow….I’ll try them all. Funnier to build it ourselves than to buy it from the store. Thank you so much for those plans!

Tigger and Tabby

Ontario, Canada

Thank you so much for the speedy reply to my question. Enclosed is a photo of Tigger and Tabby on their new Rum Tum Tugger Resort. They love looking out the window from the top perch. My older cat Tabby has a habit of wanting to hide when he knows he is heading to the vet’s, so I added hinges to the roof so I could have easy access to him should it be necessary to get him out. I am already planning to build an addition to the resort. With 2 cats, we really need 2 perches for them.

Many thanks for the plans. Our master has found them were very clear and easy to make.

And the tree is large enough for all of us! We really love it!

Building a cat condo (& making sure both use & love it) was my requirement for getting the new couch we needed after the move. (Our cats destroyed the last 2 couches) They absolutely love this condo, but are never on it together unless 1 is pushing the other off! The bengal actively protected his octagonal “throne” for 6 months & loved being silly by going round & round the post. The black one has finally won his way to the top recently. In the process of making this VERY sturdy piece of furniture, we discovered that they prefer to scratch on carpeting, not sisal. Next one will be 100% carpet. Thanks for the awesome plans.

Here is a picture of the cat condo I built off you plans. Thanks again.

Flopsey

Arizona

This is our cat Flopsey, on her tree, which she loves. She spends most of her time on the top perch looking out the window at the birds. We changed the perches to make them square, and closed on 3 sides. The plans were so easy to follow, and we are working on another one for her for our screened in patio.

Buddha

I finally finished my first cat tree… yay! Took me a long time because the hand stapler just didn’t cut it, and it took me a while to find a good power tool. I finally settled on a small pneumatic finish nailer / stapler. I love that thing! Anyway, here’s a picture of the finished tree, and of my Buddha loving his new perch by the window.

Angelita

Victoria, Australia

Thank you for the excellent plans. I have some pictures of our cat, Angelita on her new house, during it construction she made herself at home, and now that its finished she loves it even more. I added some door hinges to the roof to make it open, and easily get out anyone hiding inside. Thanks again.

Daisy

Pennsylvania

This is my 7 month old kitten named DAISY. She really enjoys her new house. Her Mom and Dad like seeing her so happy in her own place. Daisy feels like a princess in her own castle!
Your plans were great showing step by step illustrations on how to build with the measurements and also a shopping list for all the materials needed to complete the cat tree.
We will recommend your company and plans to all our cat friends!

Max

Wisconsin

A big thanks for the plans. I received the cd yesterday but I had already finished my cat tree using the pdf file for the Mistoffolees Castle. I’ve attached a couple of pictures.
It was a great success as my cat Max has explored every part of it and enjoys viewing the outdoors and sleeping on it. I did modify it a little. My cat loves to climb so I added a scratching/climbing post on one corner, that’s was a LOT of sisal rope, and extended the top perch over to meet it.
I’m very happy with how sturdy it is and of course the savings in dollars by doing it myself.
I might have to make another plan now for my son’s cat.

The kitty won’t be born for two months, but she already has a cat tree. As others have done, I modified plan two using a tubular concrete form. Thanks for the great plans!!! They made construction a snap!
